I really love the dynamism and the lettering - beautiful use of fonts there. I have a little problem visually picking the difference between hand and thigh, but that could be because I'm viewing stuff on my laptop and I have to scroll sideways to get the full impact. Nice research on the cards (always fun to see pictures with that extra zing of detail), and I really dig the dude in the background, who turns the scene completely into 'saloon'.

Yeah, that near hand is a bit lazy. I didn't put too much detail into it when I drew it, and didn't add anything much in AI. It's the no-blur equivalant of being out of focus or something.

I nearly called it 'done' without having more than a gradient BG. But I decided she had to be definitely in a saloon...

Make text, select it, object->envelope distort->make with mesh.

The text is broken up where it wraps around the sides of the arrows; "Anja's" "Gun" and "But oh that gi" "rl coul" "d count". Much easier that way.

Oh so nice...I coomend you alone for using Illustrator...I had such a tough time with it. I love the earth tones used and it's very nostagic looking/ Great job!
